Urban Infill Berlin

Berlin, Germany

The urban infill with 24 apartments stands in the backyard of the former imperial post office Berlin Prenzlauer Berg (N113). It is almost congruent with the footprint of a destroyed pre-war building and closes the last gap in the block. With its rough materialization, it fits unobtrusively between the archaic townhouses and captures two courtyards with characteristic outdoor spaces on the elongated site.
