The new head office of the European Investment Bank is an annex building to an existing site that had been realized in 1980. A tubular glass roof spans the whole building with a length of 170 metres. The building connects to the topography and fits perfectly into the landscape. The slope of the exterior is continued inside the building by halls that contain restaurants and conference areas on landscaped terraces. The flexible structure of the offices allows unlimited reversibility. Communication and spontaneous interaction are supported by open zones at the points of intersection of the office wings.
