Particle physics presented interactively: Insight into the most exciting part of current nuclear research is provided at the CERN control centre, the data centre and the cryogenic test facility SM-18. These three Visit Points are located along the Large Hydron Collider - the particle accelerator, which is built about 100 metres underground circling a distance of 27 kilometres. Various experiments and research results are explained during guided tours. Register for the SM-18 Visit Point online: visits.service@cern.ch, the other Visit Points will open in January 2014.
