The new headquarters of the German Automobile Association ADAC is a 23-storey highrise building with a 5-storey basement. The groundplan of the dynamically shaped building is stellar, arranged around an interior court. A special feature of the 88 m highrise is a cantilever on the north-eastern side that is 8.5 m long. The loads of this cantilever are redirected by a composite steel structure and returned to the core of reinforced concrete.
