Architecture on Stage: Graham Stevens

Artist and architectural designer Graham Stevens presents his pioneering work in the development of pneumatic structures.

Having completed his studies in architecture, art and climatology at the University of Sheffield in 1966, the artist Graham Stevens went on to develop a series of highly innovative inflatable structures.

He will discuss his practice with reference to short films documenting such projects as Desert Cloud (1974, 2004, 2020) a huge silver cushion measuring 12x10x2 metres that Stevens flew in the Kuwaiti desert.
