With great pleasure, RAUMTAKT announces that the project Conversion and Repurposing of the Head Office Monami has been honored with the prestigious iF DESIGN AWARD 2025. This globally renowned award is a seal of excellence for outstanding design and quality, presented by iF International Forum Design GmbH – one of the world’s oldest independent design institutions – for over 70 years.

The award was given in the discipline Interior Architecture, category Office Furnishings, recognizing the innovative and outstanding design of the Head Office Monami project. With this achievement, RAUMTAKT ranks among the best of nearly 11,000 submissions from 66 countries – a remarkable success that highlights the fierce level of competition for this award.

With its forward-thinking design, RAUMTAKT transformed a former retirement home at the corner of Langstrasse and Europaallee in Zurich into an inspiring workplace for the PR agency Monami. Spanning over 400 square meters, the project created open, creative workspaces, meeting rooms, a cafeteria, and private areas for around 40 employees.

The color concept reflects Monami’s corporate identity and boldly reinterprets the building’s former aesthetic. The conversion was carried out according to circular economy principles, using reclaimed building elements and materials to conserve resources.

The project stands out for its vibrant atmosphere, ambitious timeline, and cost efficiency.

The international jury of experts – made up of 131 independent design professionals – selected the project from a field of top-tier competitors, awarding it the highly coveted iF seal.

Further details on the Conversion and Repurposing of the Head Office Monami can be found on the official iF Design website under “Winners & iF Ranking.”
