The small Berlin "Gründerzeit" apartment receives a variety of niches by a cube placed in the room. On 36 square meters there is an open living space on 2/3 of the area. The other third share the entrance, bathroom, kitchenette and a sleeping alcove separated by a curtain. The cube placed in the room and the adjoining niches impress with a monochrome color surface that is bathed in a soft blue-gray and subtly emphasizes the respective zoning. A surprising sense of generosity spreads between small-scale tiles, a natural plank floor and the soft color.
