With more than 20 years' experience working for three renowned design offices in Geneva and Sydney, Marcio Bichsel has a wealth of expertise to draw on, as demonstrated by his many projects, which stand out in particular for their variety of materials. His repertoire includes constructions in concrete, steel, wood, various prefabricated systems, prestressed structures, structural glass, as well as mixed and hybrid structures (wood-concrete-steel) combining these different materials.
He is recognised as an engineer who is fully involved in the design process, attaching great importance to the search for innovative solutions specific to each new project. His broad vision in technical fields, his sensitivity to quality architecture and his great creativity make him a valuable player who constantly seeks to improve the project in a concrete and precise way.

Show Biography
Joachim Bourgeois trained at the Ecole d'Ingénieur de Genève, where he graduated with honours in 2009.
During his studies, he completed several internships at B+S INGENIEURS, and it was only natural that he should join the company as a civil engineer and then project manager, taking charge of projects mainly in the structural field.
He is registered with REG A (Swiss Register of Engineering, Architecture and Environmental Professionals) and is an individual member of the SIA (Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects).
Appointed as a proxy in 2015, he has been an Associate Director of B+S ingénieurs since January 2022.

Sophia is responsible for the financial management of the office as well as overseeing some major projects. With her methodical and rigorous approach, she has a real taste for meticulous tasks, precisely applying cross-checks to ensure the reliability of data. Her ability to zoom in on specific details while being able to synthesise an overall picture is testament to her versatility. Her analytical mind is a major asset, particularly when it comes to identifying and assessing financial risks. Sophia combines technical skills with a global vision to ensure effective and proactive financial management.
She joined B+S INGENIEURS in 2017 as Head of Cost Management and Planning.
Appointed Managing Director in 2024, she is currently Director of B+S Ingénieurs and Operational Director.
