Although the pavilion Yamasaki designed was intended to be temporary, it became a permanent part of Seattle and is now home to the Pacific Science Center. This we learn from Mossback, who also gives a brief background on the Japanese-American architect and highlights some of the buildings — most notably the Twin Towers — that he designed following the pavilion.
