Proud City Ikebukuro Honcho

Tokyo, Japan
Exterior

We planned the exterior and exterior lighting for Proud City Ikebukurohoncho, a large-scale mixed-use development in front of JR Itabashi Station.
The exterior lighting emphasizes the architectural form of the building while minimizing light leakage upward as much as possible.
The exterior lighting organically links multiple symbolic elements and creates a sense of brightness in the space with light from vertical surfaces.
In addition, Hybrid-Lighting, which combines LED, bulb-type fluorescent lamps, and HID lamps, is used in the lighting plan to save both energy and cost by taking advantage of the merits of each light source.
